Meet Our Expert: Dr. B.J. Gill
B.J. Gill, M.D., Ph.D. graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where he attended on a prestigious Trustee Scholarship. He then entered a highly competitive dual-degree Medical Scientist Training Program, receiving his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University.
Following completion of his internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Gill continued at Baylor for his residency in the Department of Dermatology, where he was honored with the selection as Chief Resident.
Dr. Gill's Clinical Philosophy and Interests
Dr. Gill’s clinical philosophy is to leverage a scientific knowledge base with a friendly and approachable communication style to the ultimate service of patient care. His clinical interests include skin cancer, psoriasis, infectious dermatology, autoimmune blistering disorders, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Gill has presented his work over a dozen times at scientific and clinical meetings, including recent presentations to the Texas Dermatological Society and Houston Dermatological Society.
Dr. Gill was born in Guam and grew up in Hawaii and Dallas, but is now happy to call Houston home.
