The quality of your overall makeup look is heavily influenced by the products you choose. Using subpar face paint and applying it with an inadequate brush, such as a small eyebrow brush, will result in a less impactful and even finish compared to using professional-grade materials.

Employing a high-density sponge significantly simplifies the facepaint application process, leading to a more uniform and professional result. Brands like Snazaroo can appear patchy if a sponge is not used or if the product is excessively diluted with water.
The longevity of the makeup is also contingent on the use of setting products, such as powder or setting spray, and diligent skincare practices. To achieve the best results, it is crucial to establish a consistent skincare routine, ensuring your skin is thoroughly cleaned and moisturized both before and after wearing makeup.

Musical Inspirations in Black Metal
This section delves into some of the musical influences and personal favorites within the black metal genre.
Elderwind
One of my preferred black metal bands/projects is Elderwind. The song featured is “Last Winter’s Night,” taken from their album “The Magic of Nature,” which I consider to be among the finest atmospheric black metal albums available. Elderwind has also recently released a new single titled “The Relict,” which is worth exploring.
Summoning
Previously, the track “Runes of Power” by Summoning was featured in this video. However, due to copyright restrictions on YouTube, it has been removed from the tutorial. Summoning is a highly respected name in the black metal scene, with much of their lyrical content drawing inspiration from J.R.R. Tolkien’s works. The first song I encountered from them was “Mirdautas Vras” in 2006, discovered via a fan-made music video for Sauron.
Alongside Elderwind, Summoning remains one of my all-time favorite black metal bands, and I strongly recommend immersing yourself in their music.
