A new season of Fortnite Battle Royale always brings a new battle pass, and this particular pass has introduced some unique features. It marks the first time a standard battle pass has included three collaboration skins, and it's also the first time a battle pass skin will be obtainable even without purchasing the battle pass. Beyond these novelties, the battle pass offers the usual array of content, featuring seven skins on the main progression path, plus an additional bonus skin that becomes available midway through the season.
Collaboration Skins: Halo and Power Rangers
Players who purchase the battle pass or unlock it through Fortnite Crew will instantly receive the UNSC Spartan skin, a collaboration with Halo. By reaching level 100 on the pass, you'll unlock the Green/White Ranger from the Power Rangers franchise. The Dino Megazord is slated for a mid-season release on September 16th.
Fortnite-Original Skins
In addition to the collaboration characters, the battle pass includes five other skins developed originally by Fortnite. Among these, the new Mae stands out, characterized by her prosthetic robot arms controlled via a gamepad. Another notable original skin is Agent Patch, a panda dressed in human attire. Unlike a previous iteration of Mae, this new Battle Gamer Mae does not appear to have a cel-shaded appearance.
Standard Humanoid Skins
Following the more unique original skins, there are three standard human characters. The first is Lt. Ripp Slade, a heavily armored reimagining of the Chapter 1 Season 4 battle pass skin, Battlehawk. While this skin might have been more thematically appropriate for a Season 4 pass, his substantial armor suggests he is well-prepared to face any in-game threats.
Skins for "Sweaty" Players
Rounding out the original skins are two characters seemingly designed for players who favor agile and competitive playstyles, similar to those who have mained Kor and Lara Croft. These are Onyx Winter, the leader of OXR, who is clad in black, and the idol character Yoo-mi.

Battle Pass Accessories and Cosmetics
Beyond the skins themselves, the battle pass contains a variety of accessories and matching cosmetics for each character. The pass is priced at 1000 V-Bucks and is also included as part of a Fortnite Crew subscription.
Comprehensive List of Fortnite Skins
Fortnite skins are a highly popular aspect of the Battle Royale mode, and this page provides a comprehensive list of every Fortnite skin along with its rarity. Skins marked with "BS" indicate an outfit exclusively obtained from a Battle Pass, while "P" denotes a promotional skin. Team Allegiance and Battle Pass Influence
Choose between Team Foundation and Team Ice King at the start of the season. This choice influences how you earn credits during matches, which contribute to in-game rewards. While the pass structure for unlocking skins remains similar to previous seasons, this added layer of team allegiance provides a distinct experience.
Unlocking Skins and Bonus Styles
Purchasing the battle pass instantly unlocks the Exalted Ice King skin. Most other skins can be unlocked in any preferred order, with the exception of Bugs Bunny, who is gated behind level 85 and requires all other skins to be claimed first.
Time-Sensitive Bonus
Players who purchased the battle pass before March 26th received an exclusive Stealth Tech Foundation outfit style, along with a set of accessories. This offer has now expired.
End-of-Season Rewards
At the conclusion of the season, all battle pass owners will receive either the Frost-Ready Foundation or the Exalted Frost Ice King style, depending on which team emerges victorious.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass Lineup
The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 battle pass features a total of eight skins, offering significant variety:
- Squibbly: A fish character in a yellow rain jacket, embodying Fortnite's quirky charm.
- Dasha: Sporting an oversized sweater and cat-ear headphones.
- Lady Windfrost: A full ice fantasy character with a shiny jumpsuit and a distinctive silhouette.
- The Foundation Reforged: A recognizable representation of Dwayne Johnson in armor, a unique addition to live-service gaming.
- Elite Jules: A returning fan-favorite with a refreshed appearance.
- The Order (Reforged): Completes a lore-connected duo with The Foundation.
- Bugs Bunny: The iconic Looney Tunes character joins the island.

Alternate Styles and Quest Requirements
Most skins unlock their first alternate style by claiming all rewards on page 2, a standard progression. However, three skinsâElite Jules, The Foundation, and The Ice Kingâoffer bonus styles that require completing dedicated quests after unlocking the base outfits. These quests can all be completed in regular Battle Royale modes, without needing to engage in specific modes like Blitz or Reload.
Notable Bonus Styles:
- Violet Board Jules
- Icebreaker Foundation
- Golden Exalted Ice King
These bonus styles are distinct enough from the base looks to make the in-game grind feel rewarding.
New Additions to the Battle Pass Structure
The pass also includes a new cosmetic addition: Ice Prince, a smaller companion cosmetic rather than a full outfit. This represents a new element in the current season's pass structure.
Beyond Skins: Other Battle Pass Content
Original Jam Tracks
Three original jam tracks, produced by Epic Games, are included in the pass:
- All Hail The King
- Let The Cold Take Over
- Make The Fishstick Pay
Assorted Cosmetics
The remainder of the pass is filled with the usual assortment of pickaxes, back blings, gliders, emotes, sprays, and weapon wraps, all themed around the respective skin sets.
Battle Pass Cost and V-Bucks
While the V-Bucks cost may have increased alongside a price change, the real-money cost remains effectively the same. For players who relied on the V-Bucks return from previous passes to fund future ones, this represents a significant shift.
Fortnite Showdown: Broader Cosmetic Picture
The battle pass is only one component of the new cosmetic releases. Epic Games has confirmed a total of 15 new skins across all sources in Fortnite Showdown, including item shop exclusives, a new Crew skin, and collaboration cosmetics.
Item Shop and Crew Skins
- Rival Hope: Available through the item shop.
- Sakara: The April Fortnite Crew skin, which was leaked early from update files and comes with multiple alternate styles.
Collaboration Cosmetics
- Kliff from Crimson Desert: Appears as a collaboration skin.
- Looney Tunes Crossover: Extends beyond Bugs Bunny, with Daffy Duck and Lola Bunny confirmed as separate item shop purchases.
Additional Cosmetic Sets
- Roses & Ruin: Adds Aranza, Rosalind, and Sanni.
- Brutal Defender: Brings Barricade.
These items are not part of the battle pass but were released alongside the Showdown update.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Duration
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 runs until June 5, 2026, providing ample time for players to progress through the pass and unlock bonus quest styles.

Battle Pass items were originally exclusive to the season in which they were offered and would not be available again once the season ended. Players are currently unable to claim items or make progression towards Battle Passes from previous seasons. Tier Progression and Bonus Rewards
Paid Battle Pass holders who continue to make season progression beyond level 100 will unlock access to bonus cosmetics, including Super Styles.
Free Battle Pass
The Free Battle Pass, which costs no V-Bucks, contains several select items, including 300 V-Bucks.
Level Up Quest Packs
A seasonal Epic Level Up Quest Pack can be purchased in the Item Shop for 1,800 V-Bucks, granting over 25 levels in the current Battle Pass to the holder. Levels can also be obtained by directly purchasing them at the cost of 150 V-Bucks per level, up to 100 levels.
Introduction of the Battle Pass System

Subsequent Seasons: Tier Expansion and New Features
- Extended the tier cap from 70 to 100, including extra rewards at higher tiers.
- Added Back Blings as unlockable cosmetics.
- Introduced Mystery Rewards through Fortbytes, which required completing specific tasks to unlock a Mystery Reward and a free Loading Screen.
- Each level completed corresponded to one tier in the Battle Pass.
