The spa is owned and operated by Head Spa Specialists Rachel and Cindy. They utilize a high-resolution camera to conduct thorough hair and scalp analyses. “Using state-of-the-art tools gives us detailed imaging, perfect for identifying skin concerns, dead skin cell build-up, follicle blockage, and oil secretion - just to name a few,” Rachel and Cindy explain.
Rachel, a native of Sauk Rapids, and Cindy, originally from St. Cloud, previously worked together as independent hair stylists. Their entrepreneurial spirit led them to establish Spa De Tete as a distinct business within the Head Spa framework, aiming to introduce a novel and cutting-edge service to the community.
Rachel and Cindy have actively collaborated not only as business partners but also with other head spas across the nation. This collaborative approach has been instrumental in acquiring knowledge and refining their service offerings.
The building houses 36 suites, and Spa De Tete benefits from the strong support of other stylists within the complex, who frequently recommend their services to their own clientele. In addition to their joint venture at Spa De Tete, Cindy is the owner of Cindy Christen Salon, and Rachel owns Wild Roots Hair Studio.
Spa De Tete operates from a separate, private suite, ensuring that only one guest is attended to at a time. To facilitate this personalized service, appointments are scheduled on alternating days.
“It has been exciting and challenging to help people understand the benefits of a head spa and get the word out about what we offer,” they share. Despite being busy, they are eager for more community members to discover their services. A core passion and point of pride for the owners is educating clients on the importance and benefits of scalp detoxification.
